In English it would be quite easy to write an acrostic poem at the
stanza level, although I am aware of none.  Harder would be at the
word level.  Here's my first attempt:

  A big crowd damaged every fruit grown here in June: keep latent
  marauders near orchards pretty quiet round sunset to undermine
  very wasteful xenophobic zeal.

              I've learned from Japanese friends that the ABC song is sung
differently in Japan that in the US. Get an American friend to sing it for
you; there's a rapid "LMNOP" which does not occur in the American version.
Also (if you're interested) there a several variations of the last line of
the ABC song.
