                                                    The Swedish
alphabeth has three 'non-american' letters and the other Scandinavian
languages has their equivalents.

<...>

There is a famous Scandinavian folklore sentence using almost
only these letters. In Swedish it is

' i a en .'

The sentence sounds funny and nice and means
'And in the river is an island'.

To be honest, the sentence is written fonetically. The right
spelling is:
'Och i n r en .'

[Per Hammarlund <perham@nada.kth.se>]

   > 'Och i n r en .'

In fact, I guess that we would say either "I n ligger en " or "I
n finns en ". But then the humour has gone... :-)
