CCHELP is a little system that I put together to obtain instant
helpful information on Chinese characters. Once CCHELP is installed,
you can click the mouse on any Chinese character and a help message
will appear giving the character itself, its PinYin pronunciation, and
an indication of its English meaning. The help messages also
accumulate in buffers for later inspection. Both GB- and Big5-coded
Chinese are supported. Enjoy!

There are two different versions of CCHELP, running in two different
Chinese Emacs environments.

1. The MULE version runs under Mule, the Multilingual Extended version
of GNU Emacs. For more information on the MULE version, see
math.psu.edu:/pub/simpson/chinese/cchelp/mule/README.

2. The EMACS-19 version runs under Release 19 of GNU Emacs, with the
aid of my CEMACS package plus a Chinese terminal emulator such as
cxterm (Chinese Xterm). For more information on the EMACS-19 version,
see math.psu.edu:/pub/simpson/chinese/cchelp/emacs-19/README.

CCHELP is copyrighted, but please feel free to use it and modify it as
you see fit. If you find CCHELP useful or interesting, please send me
e-mail. I would also appreciate your comments or suggestions for
improving CCHELP.
