Note on Windows 95/3.1 binary of hTeXp -------------------------------------- The hTeXp binary for Windows 95 and Windows 3.1 requires a DPMI server. If you are using DOS box of Windows 95/3.1 to use hTeXp, then there will be no problems with DPMI. DOS box provides DPMI services and you need not to know what is DPMI :). The author expects that it will works well on OS/2, but not sure. To check whether DPMI services are provided or not, just run hTeXp. If DPMI services are not provided, then you get a message like "Load Error: no DPMI". If you don't get such a message but have troubles, then your troubles are not from things related to DPMI. Check setup. If DPMI services are not provided on your environment, then you must get a DPMI server. A free DPMI server, called CWSDPMI, is included in DJGPP package. You can get it from any DJGPP distributions. In Korea, there is a mirror of DJGPP site at ftp://ftp.kornet.nm.kr/pub/SimTel/vendors/djgpp Good Luck!
